At AESTALLION, many of our clients have asked us. What is body recomposition? If you are looking to change your body with the goal of less fat and more muscle, you have a body recomposition goal. Though body recompositioning is often thought of as being something athletes and bodybuilders do, it really can be as simple as losing fat and gaining muscle and can be for everyone. There are many different ways in which a person may work towards body recomposition but at its core, it involves targeted diet and activity changes.
Every body is different and depending on your current body composition and your desired goals, your body recomposition journey could take some time. If you are already close to your desired goal you may just need some targeted support to take your training and nutrition to the next level. Many of our clients fall into this category and we find that 12-weekbody recompositioning programs are a tremendous success for our athletes. Keep your goals realistic and work towards small manageable goals as you set out on achieving body recomposition.
At AESTALLION, we can help with the how to body recomposition specifics and can assist you with body recompositioning and personal training to get you where you want to be. Though working with a personal trainer is a great way to boost your success, not everyone can afford a trainer. To get started with body recompositioning on your own, we suggest focusing on a nutrient-dense diet and strength training. There is no one size fits all way to achieve body recompositioning goals but, if you are nourishing your body and training for strength and muscle building, you will likely start to see favourable results.
One of the most common questions we get asked is what to eat and how many calories for body recomposition success. This will be highly dependent on your personal needs and there is no one size fits all answer. In many cases, you’ll want to be eating more, rather than less as your body will need fuel to build muscle. Consider making adequate protein a priority but don’t forget about other essential nutrients like carbohydrates and fats too. Diet is complicated and working with a personal trainer as well as a nutritionist is almost always the best solution to ensure your nutritional needs are met while achieving your goals.
Body recomposition is more than just bodybuilding. Though your goal may be aesthetic, the process of body repositioning means that you will gain muscle and likely improve your health. We understand that body recompositioning can seem challenging if you are relying on supplements or working out without direction. In our article,Do I Need a Personal Trainer to Build Muscle,we outline why working with a trainer can be a positive step towards reaching your goals.
